Alison is an alumnus of Bowling Green State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Previously Alison was employed as a substitute teacher for what was once called “Project 123” here in Lakewood. Project 123, now known as Public Preschool, is where she gained her experience working with preschool-aged children. She was employed with this program for 6 years as an Educational Assistant and has had the privilege of working with some outstanding teachers who taught her the preschool-age curriculum, Pre-Kindergarten Ohio Standards and the love of the young, learning child. She adores the preschool age because of their thirst for knowledge and their willingness to learn. Her enthusiasm, planning, and organization skills are great assets to her Directorship. Alison and her husband, Pete have two daughters who both attended Haynes Nursery School.
